How do I find your salon?

We're on Higley and Ray, right behind the Post Office and Sushi Ramen Go! Look for HP Salon and Spa Suites, and find us in Suite 11. Refer to this guide to find the exact suite number! (If you enter through the other door on the far left of the front of the building, take a right at the first hallway, then walk all the way down past some chairs, then take your first left). When are you open?

Accepted Answer

We're open Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 6pm, and Saturdays from 8am to 4pm. We're closed on Mondays and Sundays. Hours may vary depending on the esthetician.

How do I schedule my appointment?

Accepted Answer

You can schedule your appointment online by heading to our services page and clicking on "Book Now"! You may also call/text us at 480-427-0048.

Question 4

What's your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

We need at least 24 hours' notice to cancel your appointment without fees. If you cancel within 24 hours, there's a 50% fee. No-shows will be charged 100% of the service cost. For more details, check out our "Policies" section above!

What types of payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept tap, debit/credit cards, zelle, and cash payments for all services!
If you'd like to leave separate gratuity for your esthetician, ask them for their Venmo at checkout!

Question 6

Are there any topical creams or medications that I should avoid prior to getting waxed?

Accepted Answer

We recommend you avoid using oral medications such as Accutane, doxycycline  and topical treatments that include Retin-A, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, Differin, Tazorac, Avage, StriVectin, Renova, Proactiv, Avita, and benzoyl peroxide. These medications and topicals can increase the sensitivity of the skin being waxed or cause the skin to become thin causing skin lifting.
We recommend you avoid using the above topicals at least a week before your desired appointment time.

Do you have an age requirement for services?

Accepted Answer

Yes, clients must be at least 16 years old with written parental/guardian consent. We have a form for parents/guardians to fill out if the client is under 18.

Question 8

Can I bring a guest(s) with me to my appointment?

Accepted Answer

We recommend to refrain from bringing extra people/children with you to your appointment!  We have limited space within our suite to accommodate more people than whomever is scheduled.
If you are unable to find accommodations for your children, please reach out to us at 480-427-0048 so we may be able to find a solution for you!

How do I choose which facial to book?

Do I have to book online?

Accepted Answer

We highly recommend booking online ahead of time! However, feel free to call or text us for last minute appointments and we will try our hardest to accommodate you!

Question 11

What skincare lines do you carry?

Accepted Answer

Currently we carry Skin Scripts RX as well as BiON Skincare! We use all Skin Scripts products for our facials, and we use BiON Skincare for their tinted SPF and a post wax serum for our waxing services.

Question 12

How long does my hair need to be to wax?

Accepted Answer

We recommend waiting to wax until the desired hair to be removed is at least 1/4 inch or about the length of your bottom lashes. For most people this means waiting 1-2 weeks after shaving to get waxed. If your hair is too short you may be left with hair behind because the wax is unable to grip onto hair that is too short!

Aunt Flo is visiting, can I still receive services?

You are perfectly fine to receive services while on your period! Although, specifically for waxing, we recommend wearing a tampon during your waxing service for the comfortability of yourself and your waxer. We recommend taking precautions for waxing services such as taking ibuprofen prior to your appointment since your skin may feel more sensitive during that time of the month!

Can I get services if I'm pregnant?

Absolutely! We offer a variety of services for our pregnant clients and can accommodate your needs if you can't lay flat for long. Just call or text us at 480-427-0048 to discuss any special accommodations or services suitable during pregnancy.

Question 15

What should I wear the day of my appointment?

Accepted Answer

We recommend wearing something comfortable and as non-restricting as possible. Especially for your upcoming waxing appointment, wearing something loose and that will cause less friction overall will help you feel the most comfortable after your appointment!
